The VASAGLE Double Metal Bed Frame is a steel-and-particleboard bed with an industrial look, a headboard that houses LED lighting, USB-A and USB-C charging ports, and shelves. It sits at number nine in our best metal bed frames guide, priced at £74.79 with a 4.4-star average from 322 ratings.

The spec sheet runs into the same trouble as others in this guide. The product name and the "Size" field both say Double (135 x 190 cm), but the "Compatible With Mattress Size" field says Queen. A UK double mattress is 135 cm wide; a queen is a different size altogether. The weight claim is more consistent: the bullets promise legs that support up to 500 kg, and the spec sheet's "Maximum Weight Recommendation" is 1,100 pounds — roughly the same figure. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing, not from any testing we have done.
