The Snailax Shiatsu Neck Massager with Heat is the pick at number 8 in our guide to neck massagers. It is a cordless, wrap-around shoulder and neck massager at £47.03, with eight massage heads, three massage modes and three intensities, and the first bullet calls the whole thing "5D Shiatsu". That letter is the problem this guide keeps running into: across the ten adverts, the same eight-head arrangement is sold as 3D, 5D and 6D, and not one listing says what the D measures. Here the 5D sits at £47.03 while the other Snailax in the same guide, the one sold as 6D, is £49.98 — £2.95 more for a different letter and, as far as either advert describes it, the same eight heads.

Where this listing does give a number, it is worth checking. It has 924 ratings averaging 4.3, and the published breakdown covers 100 of them: 64 five-star, 19 four-star, 10 three-star, 2 two-star and 5 one-star. The specifications list a charging time of 75 minutes and a battery average life of 75 minutes — the same figure in both fields. Heat is described as a built-in two-stage function with no temperature given, so this is one of the nine adverts in the guide that say only "heat"; the COMFIER is the one that states a range. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing itself, not from any testing we have done.
