The Vida Designs Veronica is the number 9 entry in this guide: a gas-lift ottoman bed frame in dark grey linen at £179.99, rated 4.2 out of 5 from 98 reviews. That puts it between the 4.0 of the Vanita and the two 4.5s elsewhere in the guide, and its bottom two bars are lighter than the Vanita's: 9 one-star and 6 two-star reviews out of 98 is roughly 15%, against the Vanita's 17% and the Modernique's 6%. The five histogram bars, however, add up to 100 — 9, 6, 6, 12 and 67 — while the listing itself states 98 reviews.

The real snag with the Veronica is what the listing says the product is. The title sells a 'King 5ft' frame at 82 H x 159 W x 210 D cm. The bullet underneath gives the same frame as 'H 82 x W 159 x D 208 cm', two centimetres shallower, and the item type name in the spec table reads 'Vida Designs Veronica Double Ottoman Bed, 4ft6 ... Silver Velvet' — a double, in a different fabric, while the colour, style and finish fields all say 'Dark Grey Linen'. The price is £179.99, exactly what the guide records for a double from the same brand. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing as supplied to us; we have not tested the bed ourselves.
