The 4All pair is the only pillow in this ranking that publishes a fill measurement, and it publishes it in the product name: 1200gsm. Under it sits an 85 per cent feather and 15 per cent down blend, a cotton cover, and a pack weight of 2.95kg — 1.48kg per pillow, the best filling rate among the feather options at £7.42 per kilogram.

It is seventh because of two things in the same table: the thickness is listed as 18.9 inches, which is 48cm and cannot be true of any pillow, and the size field says pack of 2 while the unit count says 1. The ratings are middling too, at 4.2 stars with 8 per cent one-star, mostly about quills rather than loft.

## Questions people ask

**What does 1200gsm mean?**

Grams per square metre of filling. It is the only measured fill figure published on any pillow in this ranking, and it appears in the product name rather than the specification table.

**Is the 18.9 inch thickness real?**

No. The listing gives the thickness as 18.9 inches, which is 48cm and taller than a pillow can be. Treat that field as a data error.

**How many pillows are in the pack?**

The size field says pack of 2 and the unit count says 1. The 2.95kg weight and the £21.88 price point to two pillows.

**How much filling does each pillow have?**

If the pack is two, 1.48kg each — more than any synthetic pillow here except the Adam Home at 1.5kg.

**Do feather pillows lose their shape?**

They need fluffing, and 8 per cent of this pair's 273 ratings are one-star, usually about quills working through the case rather than about loft.

**How many ratings does it have?**

273 at the time of collection, averaging 4.2 stars, with 63 per cent five-star and 8 per cent one-star.
