The Runitude Portable Sauna is a pop-up steam tent with a sit-in chair, two protective floor mats and a 1000W touchscreen steam generator feeding a 2.6-litre reservoir. It takes first place in this guide at £118.99, and the listing sells safety rather than power: it says the tent was designed by NHS doctor Michael Gough, that his patented design avoids the volatile organic compounds and plastic fumes the listing attributes to most other sauna tents, and that it is the only portable sauna tent in the UK to carry independent third-party VOC testing.

On the same page, the numbers start to argue with each other. Amazon shows 4.2 out of 5 from 498 ratings, yet the star bars underneath break down as 10 one-star, 3 two-star, 5 three-star, 13 four-star and 69 five-star — 100 bars in total, not 498. It is the same kind of gap this guide flags elsewhere, and the wattage tells a similar story: in these ten listings advertised power does not set the price, and this 1000W tent at £118.99 sits well above a 1200W, 3-litre tent listed at £62.62. Everything here is taken from the Amazon listing for the Runitude; we have not tested the sauna ourselves.
