The XIAZIR Upgraded Cordless Electric Reciprocating Saw sits fourth in this guide at £64.59, with 4.3 out of 5 from 1,690 ratings. It is a battery-powered saw sold with two packs and an eight-piece blade set, and it is aimed at garden work — branches, tree limbs and roots — as much as at interior jobs.

The listing disagrees with itself on the component you would most want to be sure about. The bullet points and the included-components field both describe two 21V 4000mAh lithium batteries, one charging in about 1.5 hours while the other runs the saw. The spec table in the same listing reads '2 C batteries required. (included)' — C cells, a different size and a different chemistry from the packs described above it. The motor speed of 3,500 SPM appears in the product title rather than in the spec table. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing as it was supplied to us, not from a saw we have run ourselves.
