The Dremel Lite 7760 is a 3.6V cordless rotary tool kit at £53.60, fourth in our guide to rotary tools. It carries 4.6 out of 5 from 1,449 ratings and sits 11th in Amazon's Rotary Tools category, 8,120th in DIY & Tools. The tool is small, battery powered, charged over USB and sold with 15 accessories.

What keeps it in fourth rather than higher is the spec sheet, not the tool. The Maximum Rotational Speed field on this listing reads 25 RPM. The Minimum Speed field on the same page reads 8000 RPM, and the item title reads 8000-25000rpm. A tool cannot have a maximum of 25 RPM and a minimum of 8000 RPM — one of those fields is wrong, and the advert does not say which. The dimensions are listed as 19 x 4 x 40 millimetres, which is harder to reconcile with a 274 g tool and a soft grip than the page seems to notice. Everything here comes from the Amazon listing as published, not from any test of ours; where the advert disagrees with itself, we quote both numbers.
