Suilong's small double is the seventh entry in this guide: a 4ft (120 x 190cm) hybrid mixing gel memory foam with pocketed coils, at £139.99 with 4.6 stars from 585 ratings. It is the only mattress in this top ten that never states how many springs it contains. Instead of a coil count, the listing offers "7 zones" — a description of how the coils are arranged, not how many there are. If the point of this guide is comparing spring counts across mattresses in the same footprint, this is the listing that gives you nothing to compare against.

The same listing also disagrees with itself on size. One field says 120 x 190cm and the title says 4ft by 6ft3; a separate "item dimensions" field says 28 x 200 x 28cm — 200cm long and 28cm wide on one reading, against 190cm long and 120cm wide on another. Thickness is steadier: 12 inch in the title, 30cm in the spec sheet, which is 11.8 inch. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing as we found it, not from a mattress we have slept on or measured.

## Questions people ask

**How many springs does the Suilong small double mattress have?**

The Amazon listing does not give a spring count. It says the pocketed coils are arranged in 7 zones, but no total number of coils appears anywhere in the data.

**How thick is it?**

The title says 12 inch and the spec sheet says 30cm, which is 11.8 inch. A third field, "item dimensions", lists 28cm instead.

**Is it medium or medium-firm?**

Both appear. The spec sheet's firmness field says Medium, while the bullet points describe the Suilong as a medium-firm hybrid. The listing does not resolve the difference.

**What size bed frame does it fit?**

The size field says small double, 120 x 190cm, and the title says 4ft by 6ft3. One other field gives the dimensions as 28 x 200 x 28cm, so measure your frame before ordering.

**What is it made of?**

Gel memory foam, high density foam, memory foam and pocketed coils, with a 3D breathable fabric cover that Suilong describes as antimicrobial.

**Is there a trial period, and how does it arrive?**

Suilong offers a 100-night sleep trial. The mattress arrives compressed, vacuum-sealed and boxed, and the care instructions say hand wash only, with the mattress rotated seasonally.
