The DERW D-Shaped Soft Close Toilet Seat (model 41005WE) is a white D-shaped seat at £26.99, third in this guide. It is the cheapest of the seats compared here, and it also carries the lowest load figure in the line-up: 150kg. That runs against the pattern in this article, where the £42.80 reinforced-plastic seat claims 200kg and the £29.99 duroplast one claims 175kg, while both DERW seats are listed at 150kg. Lower price, smaller number.

The listing is not settled on one material either. The product title and the Material field both say "Premium Thermoplastic", while the second bullet says the seat is "crafted from high-quality PP material". The dimensions, at least, agree with each other: the title's 46cm x 36.5cm x 5cm matches Item Dimensions of 46L x 36.5W centimetres and the bullet's 460*365*50mm. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing — we have not fitted or tested this seat.
