The US PRO black steel chest is a freestanding roller cabinet with seven drawers, listed at £159.99 and rated 4.0 out of 5 from 165 customer reviews. It comes seventh in this guide. The description promises heavy-duty side handles, a liner in every drawer and an internal key locking system, and the only load figure anywhere on the listing is a maximum weight of 27 kg.

That 27 kg is the smallest of the five chests in this guide that state a load limit at all: the £449 Scheppach lists 450 kg, the DURHAND 150 kg and the six-drawer HOMCOM 60 kg. Steel boxes of broadly the same size, and figures that differ by more than 16 times. The same listing also names "Shelves" among the included components while recording seven drawers and describing no shelving at all, and it says assembly is required. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing as it stands, not from any test we have run.
