# Best Turntable 2026: Ten Decks Ranked on Pools Source: https://www.ranked10.co.uk/home/best-turntable Published: 2026-09-08 | Updated: 2026-09-09 | Prices checked on Amazon UK on 2026-09-08 Turntable buying is a two level decision: automatic belt drive for simplicity versus direct drive for DJ grade torque, with USB ripping and Bluetooth as the add ons that decide the price. Audio-Technica dominates this guide, and its LP60XBT appears twice, in black and white, sharing one pool of 3,083 ratings, while the newer Sony PS-LX3BT carries a perfect looking 4.9 that rests on just 36 reviews and a data sheet that lists its weight as 100 kg. So we ranked ten of the best turntable options on Amazon in September 2026 on drive type, speeds, outputs, cartridge upgrades and the depth of honest evidence, treating colour twins and shared pools as the same deck. ## The ranking ### 1. Audio-Technica LP60XBTBK Full Automatic Wireless Belt-Drive Turntable Black - Price: £155.00 | Amazon rating: 4.7 from 3,083 ratings - Full review: https://www.ranked10.co.uk/home/best-turntable/at-lp60xbt-black - Buy on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07MVPRSHZ?tag=ranked10-21 The most proven Bluetooth deck: Audio-Technica LP60XBT with 3,083 ratings at 4.7 for £155. The Audio-Technica LP60XBT is the turntable we would recommend first to most buyers, because its 3,083 ratings at 4.7 are the deepest pool of any Bluetooth deck in this guide. It is fully automatic, plays 33 and 45 RPM records, has a switchable phono preamp and connects to Bluetooth speakers or headphones as well as wired systems. Owners repeatedly describe the deck that rescued their vinyl from a cheap suitcase player, with strong build, easy Bluetooth pairing and sound quality that surprises for the price. At £155.00 it ranks first on evidence and ease, with the white colour twin sharing the same review pool. Pros: 3,083 ratings at 4.7; Bluetooth and wired outputs; Fully automatic; Built in phono preamp; Replaceable ATN3600L stylus Cons: Speakers not included; You attach the belt on setup; Plastic body ### 2. The wired Audio-Technica LP60XBK is the same fully automatic belt drive as its Bluetooth sibling minus the wireless, which drops the price to £84.99. It keeps the switchable phono preamp, the dual magnet cartridge with replaceable stylus and the simple RCA connection to a hi fi amp. Its 986 ratings at 4.5 describe an excellent deck that sounds great, sets up in minutes and plays old collections again, with one owner urging care with the stylus. It ranks second as the value entry point for buyers who already have a speaker system. Pros: 986 ratings at 4.5; Fully automatic; Built in switchable preamp; £84.99 price; RCA output cable included Cons: No Bluetooth or USB; 120 V voltage field (as listed); Plastic body ### 3. The Audio-Technica LP120XUSB is the direct drive deck of this guide, using a DC servo motor with selectable 33, 45 and 78 RPM speeds, an adjustable anti skate control and a die cast aluminium platter. Its USB output converts records to digital files, and the 8 kg body resists resonance. Its 2,155 ratings at 4.8 describe the upgrade from budget decks that owners find worth every penny, once the tone arm is balanced and set up with the help of the setup videos. At £245.00 it ranks third for vinyl purists who want 78s and USB ripping in a proper manual deck. Pros: 2,155 ratings at 4.8; Direct drive DC servo; 33/45/78 RPM; USB digital conversion; Aluminium platter Cons: £245.00 price; Manual tonearm setup; Heavier at 8 kg ### 4. Sony PS-LX3BT, Wireless Bluetooth Turntable with Full Auto Playback, Hi-Res Audio Wireless, Belt Drive, Built-in Phono Preamp, 2 Speed Operation, Dust Cover - Price: £229.00 | Amazon rating: 4.9 from 36 ratings - Full review: https://www.ranked10.co.uk/home/best-turntable/sony-ps-lx3bt - Buy on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0GF9LPR9X?tag=ranked10-21 The new Sony for 2026 with a 4.9 that rests on just 36 reviews, priced at £229. The Sony PS-LX3BT is the turntable we want to recommend, but its 4.9 star score rests on only 36 reviews, so the evidence is still thin. It is a fully automatic belt drive with aptX Bluetooth, a built in phono preamp, adjustable gain and a minimalist dust covered design launched as the 2026 model. The owners so far describe an excellent, sturdy mid priced deck that pairs with Bluetooth speakers in seconds and set up in about ten minutes. At £229.00 it ranks fifth on the strength of the Sony name and early owner feedback, with the pool size flagged honestly. Pros: 4.9 on just 36 reviews (flagged); aptX Adaptive Bluetooth; Fully automatic belt drive; Adjustable gain switch; 2026 model Cons: Pool of 36 is too thin; Item weight field reads 100 kg (as listed); £229.00 price ### 6. Audio-Technica LP60XBTWH Full Automatic Wireless Belt-Drive Turntable White - Price: £149.00 | Amazon rating: 4.7 from 3,083 ratings - Full review: https://www.ranked10.co.uk/home/best-turntable/at-lp60xbt-white - Buy on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07MVYJF38?tag=ranked10-21 The white colour twin of our top deck, sharing the 3,083 pool and priced £6 lower at £149. This white LP60XBT is the colour twin of our number one pick, carrying the identical fully automatic belt drive, Bluetooth output and built in preamp at £149.00, six pounds less than the black version. Nothing in the specification separates the two finishes. The 3,083 rating pool is shared with the black deck, so the evidence covers the model rather than each colour, an honesty note we repeat. It ranks sixth as the same recommended deck in white for homes where the lighter finish suits the furniture. Pros: Identical to the black LP60XBT; Shared 3,083 pool; £149.00, £6 below black; White finish; Fully automatic Cons: Shared pool, not double counted; Speakers still not included; White may show marks ### 7. 1 BY ONE Bluetooth Turntable System - Price: £144.49 | Amazon rating: 4.6 from 682 ratings - Full review: https://www.ranked10.co.uk/home/best-turntable/one-by-one-system - Buy on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07H918TNW?tag=ranked10-21 The all-in-one answer with speakers in the box, rated 4.6 across 682 reviews at £144.49. The 1 BY ONE is the turntable system that answers the most common follow up question by shipping with two 36 W bookshelf speakers included. A belt drive deck with a magnetic cartridge sits on a solid iron platter, with an adjustable counterweight, anti skating, Bluetooth streaming in and USB output for recording. Its 682 ratings at 4.6 describe a great value system with lovely sound, though the speaker wires are short and replaceable. At £144.49 for the complete system it ranks seventh for buyers with no existing speakers. Pros: 682 ratings at 4.6; Two 36 W speakers included; Magnetic cartridge; Adjustable counterweight; USB recording output Cons: Speaker wires are short; Manual operation; No dust cover listed in the box ### 8. Honesty note: the connectivity field lists USB while the box contains no USB output, a catalogue slip we flag as listed. At £119.00 it ranks eighth for buyers who trust the Denon name over the Audio-Technica feature lists. Pros: 1,066 ratings at 4.4; Single touch automatic; Built in phono equalizer; MM cartridge included; £119.00 price Cons: USB listed but no USB port (as listed); Plastic body; Speakers not included ### 9. The Audio-Technica LP70XBT is the newer sibling of the LP60, adding a J-shaped tonearm with the integrated VM95C cartridge, which can be upgraded later with any VM95 series stylus, plus aptX Adaptive Bluetooth. It remains fully automatic and needs no tonearm balancing out of the box. Its 375 ratings at 4.7 describe a deck that plays first edition vinyl smoothly, looks sleek and suits novices who want room to upgrade the stylus later. At £216.80 it ranks ninth as the modern automatic choice, with its younger pool the reason it trails the LP60XBT. Pros: 375 ratings at 4.7; aptX Adaptive Bluetooth; VM95C cartridge, upgradeable; J-shaped tonearm; No setup balancing Cons: Pool of 375 is young; £216.80 price; Slightly heavy at 2.9 kg ### 10. Audio-Technica AT-LP60XUSBGM Fully Automatic Belt-Drive USB Turntable Gunmetal - Price: £149.00 | Amazon rating: 4.6 from 782 ratings - Full review: https://www.ranked10.co.uk/home/best-turntable/at-lp60xusb-gunmetal - Buy on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07NX6VTKF?tag=ranked10-21 The gunmetal LP60 with USB ripping closing the ranking at £149 with 782 ratings. Its 782 ratings at 4.6 describe the deck that replaces a Crosley suitcase player with a big improvement in sound, easy setup and a warning to protect the stylus when removing the dust cover. At £149.00 it ranks tenth for buyers who want to digitise their collection on a budget. Pros: 782 ratings at 4.6; USB record conversion; Fully automatic; £149.00 price; Gunmetal finish Cons: No Bluetooth; Stylus is delicate on the cover; Speakers not included ## Verdict For most people the Audio-Technica LP60XBT is the best turntable here, with the deepest pool of any Bluetooth deck at 3,083 ratings, while the wired LP60XBK saves money and the LP120X direct drive range suits vinyl purists who want USB ripping. The Sony 2026 model deserves attention but its 4.9 sits on only 36 reviews, and the two LP60XBT colours share the same evidence. Buyers who need speakers included should take the 1 BY ONE system.
