The Yaheetech TV Stand is a 106 cm wide rustic brown unit made from E1 MDF boards with a waterproof finish and a matte-coated iron frame. It costs £44.99, is rated 4.6 out of 5 from 989 reviews, and sits at number 4 in our best TV stands guide. On paper it is a straightforward two-tier design: a top rated for 55 kg, an open lower shelf also rated for 55 kg, and a small side shelf rated for 5 kg.

The number worth pausing on is the weight. The same advert that rates the top for 55 kg lists the Item Weight as 5 kg — the exact figure it also uses as the capacity of the small side shelf. One reviewer who owns the stand calls it heavy when describing assembly, which does not read like a 5 kg item. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing rather than from any testing we have carried out ourselves.
