At number eight in this guide is the Hisense RQ5P470SMIE, a four-door American fridge freezer in stainless steel at £749. The listing states 482 litres, a non-plumbed water dispenser, an E energy rating, a noise level of 37 decibels and a My Fresh Choice compartment that can run anywhere between -18°C and +5°C.

The number to watch here is the door count. The title calls the Hisense a Cross Door, the Configuration field says Side-by-Side, the Form Factor field says French Door and the Number of Doors field says 4. A side-by-side cabinet has two doors; a four-door one does not, so one of those descriptions is wrong. The 482-litre figure is also given once only, with no split between the fridge and freezer halves, so there is no second number to check it against. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing rather than from any test of ours.
