## Questions people ask

**What is the flow rate?**

700 litres an hour, for tanks between 60 and 150 litres — seven turnovers in a 100-litre tank.

**Why does the spare impeller matter?**

The impeller is the moving part that wears out, and it is the usual reason a filter stops. Having one in the box saves a breakdown.

**Is it quiet?**

Reviewers call it very quiet, and it is fully submersible.

**Does it come with media?**

Yes, filter media is included along with a spray bar.

**Why is it second?**

Because the Fluval above has three times its ratings, and this one is the better value of the two.

**How many ratings does it have?**

634 at the time of collection, averaging 4.3 stars, with 67 per cent five-star and 7 per cent one-star.
