The Omlet Eglu Cube sits at number 8 in this guide and is the most expensive item on the page at £769.00. It is a plastic chicken house: the listing describes the material as 100% recyclable UV-stabilised polyethylene with powder-coated steel, sitting on two levels behind one door. The first bullet tells you what the price does not buy — 'PLEASE NOTE: This is the chicken coop only. Run is not included.' So the single largest number in the price column buys a house, not an enclosure.

The name calls it a chicken tractor, a term that normally means a movable house with a run attached; the £769 listing is the house alone, and the only components it lists as included are a fixed tray and a nesting box. Wheels appear in a reviewer's account of moving it, not in the contents list. The listing also never states how many hens it holds: it recommends the coop for large breeds, which is a statement about bird size rather than capacity, and the reviews supply the number the listing withholds, describing a flock of six piling in every night. The rating is 4.8 from 25 ratings, and the histogram beneath it has only two bars, 76 and 24, with the 1-, 2- and 3-star rows empty — those two bars only reconcile with the stated 25 ratings if you read them as percentages rather than counts. Two more fields look like they came from another product: 'Dog Breed Size: Large' and a best sellers rank that places the same coop 25,885th in Mobile Phone Accessories. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing for this coop; we have not tested it ourselves.

## Questions people ask

**Does the Omlet Eglu Cube come with a run?**

No. Omlet's first bullet reads 'PLEASE NOTE: This is the chicken coop only. Run is not included.' The £769 buys the house on its own.

**How many hens does the Omlet Eglu Cube house?**

The listing never gives a number. It recommends the coop for large breeds, which describes bird size rather than capacity. The reviews go further than the listing: one owner describes a flock of six hens, and says they all pile in every night.

**What comes in the box?**

The listing's Included Components field names a fixed tray and a nesting box, and Number of Items is 1. Reviewers mention a wheel attachment and an automatic door, but neither of those appears in the listing as included.

**What is the Omlet Eglu Cube made of, and is it cool in summer?**

The listing says 100% recyclable UV-stabilised polyethylene with powder-coated steel, and claims the coop is weatherproof, cool in summer and warm in winter. One reviewer with six hens reports the coop can be a little warm during heat waves.

**Why does the spec table mention a dog breed size?**

Because the listing carries a field labelled 'Dog Breed Size' reading 'Large' on a chicken coop. Nothing else in the listing explains that field, so it is safest to treat it as a listing error rather than a measurement.

**What warranty does the Omlet Eglu Cube carry?**

The listing states a 180-day money-back guarantee.
