The MIXJOY is the cheapest bed in this ranking and the listing describes the shape that makes it work: a 63 by 53 by 21 centimetre medium bed with a low front, so a small dog can step in rather than climb over a bolster. It is washable plush with a cotton filling, rated to a maximum recommended weight of 90 pounds, in dark grey and white, with a limited warranty named.

The low front is the detail worth knowing about: raised sides give a dog something to lean against, but a high front turns the bed into an obstacle for anything small or elderly. At the time of collection it carried 1,571 ratings at 4.6 stars. Everything here comes from the Amazon listing rather than our own testing.
