The Alfheim Car Boot Liner for Dogs is a waterproof boot protector that the listing says covers the boot floor, the side walls, the rear seat backs and the bumper. It costs £19.99, sits at number one in this guide, and carries 10,328 ratings at 4.2 out of 5 — plus an Amazon Best Sellers Rank of 1 in Car Boot Mats, which is the number behind its placing here rather than any test we ran.

The mismatch on this listing is not a size one, it is a field one. The product bullets describe a built-in 26 x 25 cm storage pocket, two adjustable headrest buckles and hook-and-loop side flaps; the specification table's Included Components entry reads "NO". The same table gives Seat Cover Placement as "Hinten" — German for rear — in an English-language listing. For reference, the stated dimensions are 185 x 105 x 37 cm and the Item Weight is 920 g. Everything on this page is taken from the Alfheim Amazon listing and its specification table, not from testing by us.

## Questions people ask

**What size is the Alfheim boot liner?**

The listing states 185 x 105 x 37 cm and describes it as a Universal Fit for the majority of SUVs, estate cars and hatchbacks, naming the Audi Q5, BMW X3, VW Tiguan, Skoda Kodiaq, Volvo XC60 and Ford Kuga.

**Is the Alfheim liner waterproof?**

Alfheim states it is 100% waterproof, made from 600D Oxford polyester with a fully waterproof PVC under-layer, and says it can be wiped clean with a damp cloth to keep spills, wet paws, mud and sand off the upholstery.

**How much does the Alfheim boot liner weigh?**

The specification table lists an Item Weight of 920 g. The bullets do not mention a weight, so the 920 g figure comes only from the spec table.

**What comes in the box?**

The bullets describe a built-in 26 x 25 cm storage pocket, two adjustable headrest buckles and hook-and-loop side flaps. The specification table's Included Components field reads "NO", so the two parts of the listing disagree.

**How long does it take to fit?**

Alfheim says set-up takes under five minutes: clip two adjustable buckles to the headrests and secure the side flaps with the hook-and-loop strips.

**Will it stop mud and dog hair reaching the seats?**

Alfheim says the liner covers the boot floor, side walls, rear seat backs and bumper, and that the 600D fabric is non-slip, anti-scratch and hair-resistant, with pet hair lifting off with a lint roller or a quick vacuum.
