The Bamda Dog Cooling Mat for Medium & Large Dogs in Summer, 90 x 50 cm is number 5 in this guide. It is a gel mat: the listing describes a 0.4 mm 500D taffeta fabric composite PVC layer over 8 mm of non-toxic gel and high-resilience foam, with the gel certified to Global Recycled Standard. At £17.99 it is the cheapest of the three gel mats here. The pecute and T2Y listings describe the same stated build, and the three listings weigh 2.25 kg, 2.2 kg and 2.18 kg — this one is the lightest of the three for the lowest price.

What the Bamda listing does not do is close its own gaps. The bullets call the shell PVC; the Material Type field says Cotton. The thickness field reads 0.5 cm while the Size field gives a 1 cm height. The cooling claim is 7-9 °C below, with no explanation of how that was measured — the same loose figure the other gel mats in this guide quote. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing and nothing from a test of ours.
