The Huafly dog cooling mat sits at number 8 in this guide and, at £16.78, it is the cheapest mat on the list — £1.21 below the cheapest of the three gel mats. It is also the odd one out on construction. There is no gel here: the listing describes a cooling fabric face over a Holland velvet reverse with cotton filling, and it publishes no fixed temperature drop at all, unlike the four gel listings that promise a drop of 7-9 or 5-10 degrees.

Two numbers in the listing do not line up with each other. Thickness is given as 1.5 cm under Item Dimensions and as 2 cm under Size, for what the title calls size M. The rating breakdown shown adds up to 100 ratings — 65 of them five-star — while the listing states 236 ratings in total. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing as published, not from any test of our own.
