The Vivifying Dog Cooling Mat is a 101 x 76 cm reversible pet blanket that takes third place in this guide. Unlike the gel mats here, which promise a fixed drop in degrees, it publishes a rating you can look up: the listing states Q-Max > 0.5 for its cooling fabric. Q-Max is a measurable fabric property rather than a temperature promise, and it is the only kind of cooling figure in this guide that a buyer can actually check.

At £24.99 it sits between the cheapest and dearest gel versions, and it weighs 670 g against their 2.18-2.25 kg — it is a fabric blanket rather than a gel pad, so there is simply less of it. The listing has loose ends of its own: the title says Blue & Grey while the specification table says Teal, and the bullets describe the outer material as nylon while the table lists the fabric type as polyester. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing; we have not tested the mat ourselves.

## Questions people ask

**Does the Vivifying mat state a cooling figure?**

Yes. The listing gives Q-Max > 0.5 for the cooling fabric, which is a measurable fabric rating rather than a promised temperature drop in degrees.

**How big and how heavy is it?**

The listing sizes it as Large, 101 x 76 centimetres, and gives the item weight as 670 g. It is one item, model number 20260129.

**What is it made of?**

The bullets describe four layers — cooling fabric, soft pet-safe filling, a waterproof layer and a velvet backing — and call the outer material nylon, while the specification table lists the fabric type as polyester.

**Can it be washed?**

Yes. The listing says machine washable or hand washable, and the care instructions list both machine wash and hand wash.

**Is it reversible?**

Yes. The listing describes a dual-sided design: a cooling ice silk side for summer and a warm velvet side for winter, and lists reversible and waterproof under special features.

**What colour will arrive?**

The title says Blue & Grey and the specification table lists the colour as Teal, so the listing gives two different answers.
