The EMUST Dog Life Jacket is the shark-shaped one at number six in this guide, listed in Pool Blue at £26.99 in size S. It fastens with an adjustable belt and quick-release buckles, and carries a rescue handle on top for lifting the dog in and out of the water. It costs £5.00 more than the £21.99 K9 Pursuits that Amazon ranks number one in Dog Lifejackets, and £26.01 less than the £53.00 EZYDOG at the top of this list.

What the EMUST listing shows is a jacket whose own numbers do not agree with each other. The title sells size S, while the product details block gives "Breed Recommendation: Large Breeds" and "Dog Breed Size: Large". The same block lists "League Name: NBA" for a dog life jacket, and nothing in the title or the bullets refers to a league. Against that, its 4.4 average rests on 4,587 ratings — more than twice the 1,901 behind the jacket Amazon puts first in the category — while its own category rank is 16th. Price, category rank and review count simply do not track each other on this listing. Everything below is read from the EMUST Amazon listing; we have not tested this jacket.

## Questions people ask

**What sizes does the EMUST dog life jacket come in?**

The listing says five sizes, from XS to XL, to cover most sized dogs. It asks you to measure your dog twice, check the dimension chart and pick from that; the tip for a dog that falls between two sizes is cut off mid-sentence in the bullet.

**Does the EMUST jacket have a rescue handle?**

Yes. The bullet describes a sturdy rescue handle on top, for grabbing the dog when entering the water or helping it out, and says the jacket fastens with an adjustable belt, quick-release buckles and a heavy-duty D-ring hook.

**The title offers size S — why does the specification say large breeds?**

The product details block lists Breed Recommendation as "Large Breeds" and Dog Breed Size as "Large", while the title sells the jacket in size S for small, medium and large dogs. Both statements sit on the same listing.

**What is "League Name: NBA" doing on a dog life jacket?**

The product details block lists League Name as "NBA". Nothing in the title, the bullets or the rest of the specification mentions a league.

**How are the 4.4 stars and 4,587 ratings made up?**

They are the listing's own figures: 4.4 out of 5 from 4,587 ratings, with a breakdown of 74% five-star, 14% four-star, 3% three-star, 3% two-star and 6% one-star.

**What is the EMUST jacket made of, and how is it cleaned?**

The bullets say high grade polyester oxford and nylon with mesh fabric, described as ripstop and as allowing quick drying and proper drainage. The care instruction on the listing is hand wash only.
