These rubber kerb ramps cost £24.29 for a pack of two and are rated 4.5 stars from 224 ratings, and they are not pet stairs at all: they are doorstep ramps.

They take eighth because they are the only product here for a lip or a threshold rather than a height, and because their presence in a pet ramp ranking is itself the story of this category.

It is a threshold ramp; its own buyers use it for wheelchairs.

**How high does it climb?**

10cm, enough for a doorstep or a kerb.

**Why is it in a pet ramp ranking?**

Because it appears in the search, and that is the point this article makes about the category.

**Does it stay in place?**

At 13kg for the pair, it does not need fixing.

**Why is it eighth?**

Because it solves a different problem well, and cannot solve the bed or boot problem at all.

224 at the time of collection, averaging 4.5 stars, with 75 per cent five-star and 1 per cent one-star.
