The Little Friends Double Tier Rabbit Cage, 100cm, sits at number five in this guide and is the cheaper of the two multi-level cages in it, at £76.99. It carries a 4.4 out of 5 rating from 242 ratings and ranks 34th in Amazon's Small Animal Cages category. The listing leans on the second storey: "SPACIOUS DOUBLE-TIER DESIGN", "maximising vertical space", "plenty of room to play, rest and explore".

What it never supplies is the measurement that actually decides a guinea pig cage. The product name gives one dimension — 100cm of length — and the bullets give one number about the inside of the cage, a 17cm-deep base. There is no width, no length by width, and no square-metre figure for either of the two levels, which matters because a second level only counts as floor area if the animal uses the ramp to reach it. There is a second inconsistency in the same spec sheet: the model name reads "Little Friends Rabbit & Guinea Pig Cage", while Target Species and Breed Recommendation both say Rabbit, and the Dog Breed Size field says Medium. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing, not from any test we carried out.

## Questions people ask

**How much floor space does the Little Friends Double Tier cage give a guinea pig?**

The listing does not say. It gives a 100cm length in the product name and calls the design spacious, but no width and no square-metre figure appear for either of the two levels.

**Does the Little Friends Double Tier cage have two levels?**

Yes. Number of Levels is listed as 2, and the bullets describe a two-level cage with an integrated wooden ramp connecting them.

**Is this cage intended for guinea pigs?**

The model name is Little Friends Rabbit & Guinea Pig Cage, but Target Species is listed as Rabbit and Breed Recommendation as Rabbit. One reviewer keeps guinea pigs in it.

**How deep is the base?**

17 cm, according to the second bullet point, which describes it as deep enough to contain bedding and reduce mess.

**How do you get to the pets inside?**

Number of Doors is listed as 2. The bullets describe a large front opening and a top opening for feeding, handling and cleaning.

**What comes in the box at £76.99?**

Included Components lists the cage itself. The ramp is described in the bullets as part of the two-level design rather than as a separate item.
