The Little Friends Grosvenor is the number 5 entry in this guide: a grey cage measuring 78 x 48 x 36 cm, listed at £57.99 and rated 4.3 out of 5 from 625 ratings. It is sold as a hamster and rat cage with 1 cm bar spacing, a top-opening door the listing measures at 68 x 38 cm, and a foldable frame for storage. Working from the listing's own figures, 78 x 48 cm comes to roughly 0.37 m² of floor — less than the 0.5 m² the BUCATSTATE at the top of this guide states outright, and that gap is worth more than the word 'large' on the box.

The inconsistency in the Grosvenor is in its parts list. One bullet promises a wooden shelf, house, wheel, ladder and plastic food bowl; the Included Components field names only the base, fixed tray, ladder and wooden shelf, so the house, wheel and bowl are not accounted for there. The reviews below do not settle it either — one of them says the house and wheel that arrive are dwarf-hamster size. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing and from customer reviews; we have not tested this cage ourselves.

## Questions people ask

**How big is the Little Friends Grosvenor?**

The listing gives 78 x 48 x 36 cm, which works out at roughly 0.37 m² of floor by its own figures.

**What bar spacing does it have?**

1 cm, which the listing calls 'extra narrow' and says prevents pets escaping.

**What arrives with the cage?**

The bullet lists a wooden shelf, house, wheel, ladder and plastic food bowl. The Included Components field lists only Base, Fixed Tray, Ladder and Wooden Shelf, so the two parts of the listing disagree over three items.

**Which pets is the Little Friends Grosvenor for?**

The name says hamster and rat, and the bullets add chinchillas, gerbils, mice and degus, but the Target Species field reads 'Rat' and Breed Recommendation reads 'Rats & Hamster'.

**How big is the access door?**

The listing measures it at 68 x 38 cm and describes it as a large, top-opening door.

**Does it fold away when not in use?**

Yes — Collapsible is listed under Special Features and the bullet describes a foldable design for storage. The Product Warranty field reads 'Non'.
