PawHut's three-tier cage is number six in this guide. It sells for £63.89 and carries 4.2 out of 5 from 31 ratings. The naming is the first thing that does not hold together: the product title calls it a rat cage, the first bullet calls it a rat cage, the second bullet calls it a gerbil cage, the fourth calls it a 'large hamster cage', and the specification table's Target Species field reads 'Hamster' while the Item Highlight ends 'for Rats'. Four species, one product page, and the same 1 cm bar spacing offered to all of them.

What you can pin down is the hardware. The frame measures 82L x 45W x 106.5H cm across three tiers joined by 7 cm tubes, and the Number of Levels field does agree: 3. The base tray is 17 cm deep, removable, with front and top access; 17 cm is the tray rather than a stated bedding depth, because the copy only says the base 'holds plenty of bedding for burrowing'. There are four wheels with two lockable brakes and a six-month warranty against manufacturer defects. The figure that does not survive contact with the rest of the page is the review total: the star histogram on this listing adds up to 100 votes, 61 of them five-star, against the 31 ratings stated elsewhere on the same page. Everything here is taken from the Amazon listing as it stands — we have not built this cage, measured it or kept animals in it.
