The by Amazon Complete Dry Cat Food for Adult Cats with Tuna & Herring is one 10kg bag of dry pellets, priced at £16.35 and rated 4.7 out of 5 from 1,251 ratings. It takes #6 in this guide, and it is the bag that sets the floor for the whole comparison: no other listing here gets near it on price per kilo.

Divide £16.35 by 10kg and you get £1.64 per kg. That is the number the rest of the shelf is measured against — the 2kg Indoor Long Hair bag at £27.18 works out at £13.59 per kg, so the big bag costs £10.83 less in total while holding five times as much food. The listing is not flawless: a cat food carrying a "Dog Breed Size: Medium" field and an "Occasion: Birthday" field is a listing built from a template, and the country of origin is given as España. Every figure on this page comes from the Amazon listing, not from any testing we carried out.
