The Strixorn 3200W Professional Dog Hair Dryer & Grooming Blaster takes the number 10 slot in this guide. It is a blaster-style pet dryer — the kind that pushes air rather than heat — quoted at a 3200W motor output, with stepless speed control, four nozzles and a flexible hose, priced at £55.99 and rated 4.5 out of 5 from 34 ratings. The title says it suits cats as well as dogs, and the listing positions it for both home use and professional grooming shops.

The reason it sits last here is not the price, it is that the listing's own numbers disagree with each other. The rating is quoted as 34, but the star breakdown bars above it add up to 100. The low-noise bullet claims the dryer runs "quieter at 45-80 dB" — 80 dB is roughly the level of a vacuum cleaner, which is not a quiet appliance, and the listing offers no figure for the lower end in normal use. The spec table also carries a field reading "Guaranteed software updates until: unknown", which is a software field appearing on a hair dryer. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing; none of it comes from testing we have carried out.
