Eukanuba Fresh Chicken is a complete dry puppy food for small breed dogs, sold as a 3kg bag at £18.49. It is number 9 in this guide to puppy food, and it is the only bag here aimed specifically at small breeds, with Dachshunds, Pugs, Jack Russell Terriers and French Bulldogs named on the listing.

The number that matters most on this fiche is £6.16 a kilo — that is what £18.49 buys across 3kg, and it is close to three times the £2.20 a kilo of the 10kg Dr John's bag in this same guide. The other number worth looking at twice is the review count. The listing reports 281 ratings at 4.5 out of 5, but the star breakdown shown beside it adds up to 100: 78 five-star, 7 four-star, 8 three-star, 4 two-star and 3 one-star. Those 100 ratings do work out at 4.53, so the breakdown fits the 4.5 score — it simply does not account for the 281 figure quoted on the same page. Everything below comes from the Amazon listing for this product: the price, the specifications, the star counts, the buyer reviews. We have not tested the food ourselves.
