The fanxiang S660 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD is the drive at number 9 in our best 1TB SSD for PS5 guide. At £135.99 it is the lowest-priced drive in the round-up, undercutting the Acer GM7 at £155.99 and the Lexar EQ790 without heatsink at £144.99. It quotes PCIe Gen4 speeds of up to 5000MB/s read and 4500MB/s write, which are within the PS5's own bus, unlike the PCIe 5.0 figures quoted by the Crucial P510 and Samsung 9100 PRO.

The most telling detail in this listing is the form factor: the spec table says '2280 Inches', which would be a 2.28-metre drive. The bullet points elsewhere describe it as an M.2 2280 drive, and the name says it comes with a heatsink, though the bullet adds 'may require manual installation'. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing, not from our own testing.
