The Sharp 32HE2345K is a 32-inch HD Ready smart LED TV at £149, ninth in this guide. It is the most expensive 720p set here: every 720p screen in the list sits between £119 and £149, and this is the top of that range. The cheapest 1080p set in the same guide is £138, so the £149 here is £11 above the cheapest Full HD option. What the extra buys is not resolution — on the listing's own account it is TiVo OS with more than 160 free TiVo+ channels, plus the Freely app, which brings BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Channel 4 and Channel 5 with no aerial needed.

The listing declares a contrast ratio of 1000000:1, a hundred times the 100000:1 claimed by the £198.98 Hisense further up this list. Both are figures from two adverts rather than from a measurement we ran, and this one is attached to a 720p panel. Sharp also lists HDR10, a 60 Hz refresh rate and a weight of 3.35 kg. The rating stands at 4.6 from 27 reviews, but the star histogram on the same listing adds up to 100 ratings — 86% five-star, 9% three-star, 5% one-star. Every figure on this page is taken from the Amazon listing and not from our own testing.
