The SIMMAX 32GB Memory Stick is a USB 2.0 flash drive in a swivel body: a metal clip that rotates 360° around an ABS plastic shell, with no cap to lose. It sits at number six in this guide of eight 32GB drives, listed at £7.99 for a single pack and rated 4.4 out of 5 from 2,786 ratings.

Where several drives in this guide quote a large read speed and a much smaller write speed, the SIMMAX listing gives 18 MB/s for read speed and 18 MB/s for write speed — the same figure in both fields. Its bullet points promise "high speed" without quoting a number, and 18 MB/s sits comfortably inside the 60 MB/s ceiling of the USB 2.0 interface the drive is built on. The same listing says 32 GB of storage while giving the available capacity as 29.10GB-29.8GB, and one reviewer reports paying £4.99 rather than the £7.99 shown. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing and its customer reviews, not from any test of our own.
