The Samsung U8000F is a 75-inch 4K LED TV at £619, ninth in this guide and the cheapest set in it. Its listing is also the one that disagrees with itself most openly: the same specification table gives "Refresh Rate: 50 Hz" and, a few rows further down, "Display Refresh Rate in Hertz: 120". Both numbers are printed on the same product page, for the same model.

What follows comes from the Amazon listing for this Samsung — its own spec fields, its bullet points and the customer reviews attached to it. We have not measured the panel, run a stopwatch on it or tested it in a room. Where the listing contradicts itself, we give you both figures and leave the judgement to you.
