The Sony BRAVIA 3 in 85 inches sits at number 4 in this guide at £1,599.00. It is a Direct LED 4K LCD with Triluminos Pro picture processing, 4K X-Reality Pro motion enhancement, an X-Balanced Speaker, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, and Google TV as the smart platform. Its Amazon listing carries 4.3 out of 5 from 106 ratings, and the histogram behind that average runs from 72 five-star ratings down to 8 one-star ratings.

The reason it earns a mention here is what its refresh-rate fields do not do. Several 85-inch listings in this guide quote one refresh rate near the top of the page and a different one further down. The BRAVIA 3's listing says 120 in the 'Refresh Rate' field and 120 again in 'Display Refresh Rate in Hertz', so the same number appears twice and there is no gap between the two to reconcile. Elsewhere the listing is less exact: 'Contrast Ratio' is entered as 'High' rather than as a figure, and 'Number of Audio Channels' reads '5.1 or 7.1'. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing as published; we have not measured or tested this television ourselves.
