The Cambridge Audio SX60 is a passive pair of bookshelf speakers priced at £249.00 and rated 4.6 out of 5 from 149 Amazon ratings. It takes fourth place in this guide. Cambridge Audio lists a 165mm (6.5in) doped paper cone woofer and a 25mm silk dome tweeter in a front-ported 2-way bass reflex cabinet, with 89dB sensitivity, 8 Ohm impedance and a recommended amplifier power of 20-100W. Each speaker is listed at 20 x 27.2 x 34 cm and 5 kg.

The numbers worth stopping on here are the ones that do not fit the product they describe. The bullets call the SX60 passive speakers, which need an amplifier to make any sound at all, yet the same listing puts Amplifier and Tweeters under Product Features and Corded Electric under Power Source. Its water answer is given twice, and differently both times: Is Waterproof is listed as False, while Water Resistance Level is listed as Waterproof. Every figure on this page is taken from the Amazon listing as published, not from testing by us.
