The Alesis Nitro Max is an 8-piece electronic kit listed at £345.00, built around mesh heads: a 10-inch dual-zone snare, three 8-inch toms, a kick drum tower with pedal and three 10-inch cymbals, plus a drum module with Bluetooth, 32 BFD kits and 440+ sounds. It takes first place in this round-up for two separate reasons: it is the cheapest Alesis kit in the group, and its own listing carries by far the strongest numbers — 4.4 out of 5 from 2,709 ratings, ranked 1 in Electronic Drums and 710 in Musical Instruments & DJ.

Its listing also holds together where others in this group do not. The item highlight promises a 10-inch dual-zone snare, 8-inch toms and 10-inch cymbals; the bullet points describe exactly that — a 10-inch dual-zone mesh snare, three 8-inch mesh toms and three 10-inch cymbals (ride, hi-hat with foot controller, crash with choke) — and the box list adds a kick tower with pedal and a Drumeo lessons card, with no subwoofer mentioned anywhere. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing rather than from any testing of our own.
