The Sony Alpha 7C II sits at number eight in this guide to full-frame mirrorless cameras, listed at £1,389.00 with 4.4 out of 5 from 128 ratings. The pitch is size: the listing calls it the smallest full-frame camera in the Alpha lineup, and one buyer describes it plainly as a "great compact camera" paired with a small rig cage and a Sony 24-70mm G lens. The silver finish is the one on this page, and the stated weight is 430 g.

The catch is the specification table, which disagrees with the product name above it. The name says 33MP full-frame; the same listing gives Photo Sensor Size as 1-inch, Sensor Type as CCD and Video Capture Resolution as 4320p. A 1-inch CCD sensor is not the 33MP full-frame sensor named in the title, and a 4,320p figure does not sit with a camera the title says records 4K. That is the pattern this guide set out to find — listings whose own numbers do not reconcile with each other. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing; we have not tested the camera ourselves.
