The Logitech G Astro A20 X is our number 8 gaming headset pick for September 2026 and the new wireless option built around PLAYSYNC Audio, which lets one headset switch between Xbox or Switch and PS5 or PC with a tap on the ear cup. The package reads well at £111.29: 40 mm PRO-G drivers with live edge technology, a 48 kHz boom microphone with Blue VO!CE customisation, 8 zone LIGHTSYNC RGB, built in game and chat balancing and 24 bit LIGHTSPEED wireless with Bluetooth 5.3.

Its sheet contradicts itself in ways worth flagging: the bullet claims under 300 g while the spec table prints 780 g, and Sensitivity is listed as '48 KHz' where decibels belong, a unit slip copied from the microphone sample rate. Both are flagged (as listed). With only 50 ratings, the evidence pool is thin but perfectly positive at 4.3, so it ranks with an honest caveat rather than a dismissal. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing rather than our own testing.

## Questions people ask

**What is PLAYSYNC Audio on the A20 X?**

The listing describes smooth two system audio switching between Xbox/Switch and PS5/PC from the ear cup.

**Is the headset really under 300 g?**

The listing bullet says under 300 g, but the spec table prints 780 g (as listed), a contradiction we flag rather than resolve.

**What wireless options does it have?**

24 bit LIGHTSPEED wireless, Bluetooth of up to 30 metres and USB-C wired connectivity, per the listing.

**What microphone does it use?**

A 48 kHz high resolution boom microphone with Blue VO!CE customisation, per the listing.

**Does it have RGB?**

Yes, customisable 8 zone LIGHTSYNC RGB with 16.8 million colours, per the listing.

**Why did it rank number 8?**

The feature set is strong, but only 50 ratings exist for a new model, so it sits lower in our list with an honest thin pool caveat.
