The ASUS ROG Strix 850W Platinum is an 850-watt ATX power supply from ASUS, listed at £158.99 and placed ninth in this guide. Its Amazon page shows a 4.8 rating from 95 ratings, and 91 of those 95 ratings are five stars. The model name on the listing is ROG-STRIX-850P-GAMING.

The finding here is the spec table disagreeing with the rest of the same page. Under Power Supply Design the listing says Non-Modular, while three of the four customer reviews reproduced on the page describe a modular or fully modular unit with individually braided cables. The same table gives a maximum input voltage of 220 volts AC, with no separate figure for the roughly 230 volts of UK mains. The bullets quote "up to 30%" better efficiency and "up to 45%" better voltage delivery without saying what either is measured against. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing as published; we have not tested this power supply ourselves.
