The Samsung T9 is the fastest drive in this ranking and the listing is explicit about the interface that delivers it: USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 with a read speed quoted at 2000 megabytes per second, 1TB of capacity, a portable form factor and up to 3 metres of drop resistance. Compatible devices are listed as cameras, desktops, consoles, laptops and PCs.

The Gen 2x2 detail is the one to check before buying, because 2000MB/s requires a port that supports that specific standard; plugged into a plain USB 3.2 Gen 2 port the drive runs at roughly half its quoted speed. At the time of collection it carried 2,160 ratings at 4.7 stars. Everything here comes from the Amazon listing rather than our own testing.
