The ADAM Audio T5V is a two-way nearfield studio monitor with a 5-inch woofer, listed at £149.00 and sitting at number 8 in this guide. Its rating is 4.6 out of 5 from 345 ratings. The specification table records a polypropylene enclosure, a weight of 5.72 kg and dimensions of 29.7 x 17.9 x 29.8 cm.

The number to watch here is the price: £149.00 is for one monitor, so a stereo pair costs £298.00 — the same unit-count trap that runs through this guide. The rest of the spec sheet deserves the same caution. A field labelled "Subwoofer Speaker Diameter" is filled in as 5 inches on a two-way monitor whose woofer diameter is also given as 5 inches; the tweeter diameter is listed as 0.48 centimetres; and the same table carries "Battery Average Life: 8 Hours" and "Control Method: Remote" for a monitor whose bullets describe only multiple analogue connections. The rating breakdown shown on the page adds up to 100 (75 five-star, 16 four-star, 5 three-star, 1 two-star, 3 one-star) against the 345 ratings stated at the top. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing itself, not from any testing we have carried out.

The spec table gives the woofer driver diameter as 5 inches. The same table also lists a "Subwoofer Speaker Diameter" of 5 inches on a product described as a monitor.

The bullets name a U-ART tweeter with an HPS waveguide, designed in Berlin. The tweeter diameter in the spec table is given as 0.48 centimetres.
