The TOPDON TS004 is a thermal imaging monocular with a 50 Hz refresh rate, a 13 mm lens and a 5000 mAh battery that the listing says powers 11 hours of continuous use. It takes second place in this guide at £390.09, rated 4.3 out of 5 from 625 ratings, and the listing puts it 18th in Amazon's Monoculars category.

The reason it sits here rather than higher is the resolution in its own title. The name reads "320x240 IR"; the first bullet then describes a 256x192 IR sensor that reaches up to 320x240 only with TISR image enhancement enabled — the same kind of gap between headline number and sensor that runs through this guide. The listing also gives two figures for the same measurement: the size bullet says 640 g, the item weight field says 630 g. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing as it appears there, not from any test we have run.
