The Trail Brazen 4 Man Air Tent is the fifth tent in this guide and carries the highest waterproofing figure anywhere in it: a 5000mm hydrostatic head, against the 1500mm quoted on the Amazon Basics tent, with the same "Waterproof: True" tick alongside it. It is also the tall one — the listing gives 195cm of height, so an adult stands up inside, which is exactly what the 130cm Andes tent cannot offer.

Where this listing disagrees with itself is in the ratings. It says 4.5 out of 5 from 54 ratings; the star breakdown shown on the same page reads 5 one-star, 7 three-star, 11 four-star and 77 five-star, which adds up to 100. Both numbers sit on the same Amazon page. The 455 x 270cm footprint is the whole tent — four-berth bedroom and living area together — and the listing never separates the two, so it does not say how much floor the sleeping compartment gets. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing and its published specs, not from a tent we pitched or slept in ourselves.

What buyers actually say

“Really impressed with this tent! It was very easy and quick to install, which made setting up the campsite much less stressful. Once inflated, it feels very sturdy and well-made, and the materials seem resistant and durable. We even tested it in windy and rainy conditions, and it performed really well. It stayed secure and kept us dry, which gave us a lot of confidence in the tent. The only small inconvenience is that the front doesn't have a zip all the way that allows you to completely close it, which would be useful for extra security, especially when leaving the tent unattended.Overall, though, we are very happy with the tent and would definitely recommend it for family camping trips. Great value for money!”

“Love it. Love it. Love it. Best of all...it fits back in the bag it came with.Just watch the pole inflation and make sure no bends in them that have not been pushed out on inflation, or they will be a weak spot in the wind.Inside bedroom bit attached with such ease and it comes with decent pegs too.”

Questions people ask

How waterproof is the Trail Brazen air tent?

The listing gives it a 5000mm hydrostatic head and a TRX 21068D polyester flysheet. That is the highest water-resistance figure quoted on any tent in this guide.

How tall is it inside the Trail Brazen 4 Man Air Tent?

195cm, according to the listing's height spec, so an adult can stand upright. The Andes tent in this guide is listed at 130cm.

How many people does it sleep?

The listing describes a 4 berth bedroom plus a separate living area, and the size field says 4 Persons. The 455 x 270cm footprint covers the whole tent, and the listing does not give the bedroom's own measurements.

Does it come with a pump?

Yes. The listing includes a safety purge pump that inflates the TPU air poles to 7 PSI and purges excess air once they reach that pressure, to prevent over-inflation.

Why do the ratings on the Trail Brazen not match?

The listing states 4.5 out of 5 from 54 ratings, while the star breakdown on the same page shows 5 one-star, 7 three-star, 11 four-star and 77 five-star — 100 in total.

What does the Dark Zone bedroom do?

The listing says it blocks 90% more sunlight than a non-Dark Zone room and has a mesh vent with a zipped curtain for light when you want it.
