Greenworks' 40V chainsaw tops this guide, and the reason is in the box. The £235.99 buys the 35cm saw, two 40V 2Ah batteries and a charger, so one pack can be on charge while the other is cutting. Two 2Ah packs at 40V add up to 160Wh of nominal battery capacity — but the Greenworks listing never states a runtime, so there is no manufacturer figure to set against the roughly 45 minutes one buyer reports.
Two numbers in the same listing do not agree with each other. The description says the saw weighs 3.5kg; the specification table says 3.4kg. The same specification table also carries a Horsepower entry of 1.5 and a unit count of 5060.0 — the second of which describes nothing about a 3.4kg battery chainsaw. Greenworks' own copy describes the tool by voltage and chain speed instead: a 40V system and a 12m/s chain. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing, not from testing we carried out ourselves.

However this Greenworks chainsaw is not only a good deal (two batteries and a decent blade length) it is also very able to cut through quite large logs when preparing them for the stove. It won't cut down trees larger than say 20" round, but the two batteries provide enough power to work for around 45minutes - depending on how much wood you are actually attempting to cut through in that time. The batteries recharge in around an hour, a good purchase.”
