Is the CosmoGrill Pro Deluxe 7 worth buying?
The CosmoGrill Pro Deluxe 7 is worth its £289.99 for a household that grills for eight people or more and has somewhere dry to store it. Six stainless steel main burners at 2 kW each plus a 2.5 kW side burner give 14.5 kW in total, and the enamelled grate runs to 77 x 42 cm, which is 3,234 cm2 of cooking surface. 269 owners rate it 4.4.
The grill that suits a smaller table is the CosmoGrill Original 5 Burner at £199.99, which does four to six people with 9.3 kW and weighs 22 kg. This one is the buy when the guest list is long and the food goes on in one round rather than two.
What does 14.5 kW across seven burners mean in practice?
The six main burners carry 2 kW each, which is 12 kW, and the side burner adds a further 2.5 kW, so the total lands at 14.5 kW. Spread across all seven that is 2.07 kW per burner, and it is that figure rather than the burner count that decides how the meat comes off the grate.
That heat buys zones, not just temperature. You can run two burners hard for a sear, hold chicken over two at low output and leave the last pair off, with seven power levels controlling the split. The double-walled hood traps the heat while the built-in thermostat reads the temperature under the lid, so the hood stays down and the grate stays hot. Four racks and a full-length stainless steel warming rack take the resting meat while the next round goes on.
What comes with the CosmoGrill Pro Deluxe 7 and how do you live with it?
The box holds the grill and a user manual, and nothing else that feeds it. A 37 mbar regulator and a hose are both required and neither is included, so the first cook needs those plus a gas bottle. When it is built it measures 149 x 55 x 110 cm with the hood closed and stands on an aluminium frame finished in powder steel.
It weighs 39 kg and rolls on two castor wheels, which is fine across a flat patio and awkward on gravel or steps. Assembly is required, and 39 kg of steel plus a side burner and a warming rack is a job for two people. Day to day, the enamelled grates and the grease tray lift straight out for cleaning, and the cabinet below holds plates, tools and sauces.
Where does the CosmoGrill Pro Deluxe 7 fall short?
No cover comes in the box, which is the entire £10 gap between this grill and the CosmoGrill Pro Deluxe with the weatherproof cover at £299.99. Left outside through a wet winter, 39 kg of steel will show it, so a shed, a garage or a £10 cover is part of the deal. The regulator and hose are also missing, which is money the £289.99 does not cover.
Two castor wheels make 39 kg hard to turn on grass, and at 149 cm wide the grill claims a serious stretch of patio. The cabinet cannot hold the gas canister while the barbecue is lit, so the bottle stands beside it. The manufacturer backs the grill for one year.
How does the CosmoGrill Pro Deluxe 7 compare with the Original 5 Burner?
Against the CosmoGrill Pro Deluxe with the weatherproof cover at £299.99, this grill has the same 14.5 kW, the same 77 x 42 cm grate and the same 39 kg frame for £10 less; the only thing missing is the 600D Oxford cover in that box. That other grill also carries 366 ratings at 4.5 against 269 at 4.4 on this one.
Against the CosmoGrill Original 5 Burner at £199.99, this one costs £90 more and weighs 17 kg more, and gives 14.5 kW against 9.3 kW with six main burners instead of four. Four to six people are better served by the Original; eight or more, or a long afternoon of two rounds of meat, is what the Pro Deluxe 7 exists for.

Questions people ask
Does the CosmoGrill Pro Deluxe 7 come with a regulator and hose?
No. It needs a 37 mbar regulator and a hose to run, and neither is in the box, so add both to the price before you order. The gas bottle is bought separately as well.
How much space does the CosmoGrill Pro Deluxe 7 need?
It measures 149 x 55 x 110 cm with the hood closed and weighs 39 kg. Leave clearance at the front for the hood to open and beside it for the side burner and side table to be usable.
Is the CosmoGrill Pro Deluxe 7 difficult to assemble?
Assembly is required and 39 kg of steel is a two-person job. The cabinet, side burner, side table and warming rack all go on before the first cook.
Can I keep the gas bottle in the CosmoGrill Pro Deluxe 7 cabinet?
Not while the barbecue is in use. The cabinet takes plates, tools and sauces, and the canister stands beside the grill when you cook.
How many people can the CosmoGrill Pro Deluxe 7 feed?
Eight or more. The grate runs to 77 x 42 cm, or 3,234 cm2, and the seven burners put out 14.5 kW, so a full table cooks in one round instead of two.
What warranty does the CosmoGrill Pro Deluxe 7 carry?
One year from the manufacturer. The enamel grates, the grease tray and the V-shaped flame tamers are the parts that wear first, and all three lift out for cleaning.
