Verified purchase“Let's get the slight gripe out of the way - delivery, ordered the item, then advised the delivery would be sometime during a 5 day period a week later. 2 Days later a knock at the door and it's arrived. Nice it turned up quicker than expected, however no warning and it turned up on a truck with just the driver so unless you're fairly fit and able, this will be an issue as the 4 boxes are up to 70kg each and too long for a single person to carry, so make sure you're in to receive it (but you won't know when it's coming!).Onto the assembly, all the parts are well labeled and construction is fairly quick, I did this between 2 people and it went pretty well when you factor the size of it. The thing that takes the time is fitting the roof slates and I did this on a scorching hot day and those slates get hot!Quality of the structure, I'm really pleased, all well coated and looks like it will last. The guttering system works well, the roof can get a little noisy in heavy rain, but's a metal roof. One tip after heavy rain, open the slates up a little to make them drain a little better otherwise depending on the slope of your garden the water can just collect in the slates.We ended up buying a 2nd one as we quickly released due to the angle of the sun in summer, by late afternoon we end up with a small 1m patch of shade, so this was an expensive 2 weekends!This really has transformed our garden which was unusable in the recent heat wave, we can now sit out in the blazing sun and enjoy the shade or open the roof to let a bit of that sun through. Also has made an area we can still use when it's raining - we can keep washing on the airer outside when it's raining.”
Verified purchase“We are extremely pleased with the item although the instructions could be improved in two ways - to ensure that the shorter ends are put the right way up and at the right end. We made this mistake. One further point is that the ground must be flat if the posts are to be erected vertically as is necessary for the blind along the top to ft and work. Our patio is not actually flat and so we had to adjust the posts to ensure they are vertical. An excellent item that we are thoroughly enjoying.”
