“I bought this Bosch cordless chainsaw after a lot of research and wading through more reviews than I usually would. It's certainly not the cheapest around, I've used one of the cheaper saws and compared to the Bosch, put simply, it didn't compare. The Bosch is very well made, feels robust, it was very easy to put together, the chain tension is simple, but very effective. This is a really important aspect, chain tension is vital and having used the Bosch on four occasions now cutting to around 12 inch logs, chain tension remaind good throughout. Do be aware of the cost of Batteries for this Bosch saw, the 36V system is obvious superior to 18V that many other brands use, but the batteries are expensive. I opted for this saw with a charger and the starter 2AH battery, it saved a lot of initial outlay. This battery does have a decent duration, but when cutting logs 10 inch in diameter the saw is working hard and battery life is reduced. I'm looking at the 4 or 6 AH but they are very costly...although, looked after correctly they do last apparently. In summary, I'm extremely pleased with this saw but recommend buying it with a charger and battery to save on initial outlay.”

“Great chainsaw fairly easy to assemble but putting chain on a bit tricky. Bought to cut back overgrown bushes and worked a treat. Not too heavy to handle but does have a bit of weight if too light may spring back so this is a good thing. Didn't use constantly so don't know how long battery would run before needing charged. Ideal for in the garden and would remcommend.”
