Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The LawnMaster OcuMow 16 costs £329.99 with two batteries and a one-hour charger, so it needs no outdoor power socket — a genuine advantage in a British garden.
It takes fourth because the idea is the best in the ranking and the data is not: its cutting-width field says 60mm, where every other machine of this class says 160 or 190mm.
How those 146 ratings break down
An average hides its own shape. This is the spread behind the 4.4 stars.

Questions people ask
Do I need an outdoor socket?
No, and that is the point: you charge the two batteries indoors in a one-hour charger and swap them by hand.
What about the 60mm cutting width?
It is the blade assembly rather than the cut; machines of this class cut 160 to 190mm wide.
How much does it weigh?
6.8kg, the lightest here, with a built-in handle.
Does it need a boundary wire?
No, it uses a camera and ultrasonic sensors.
Why is it fourth?
Because the two-battery idea is excellent and the specification has a figure out by a factor of three.
How many ratings does it have?
146 at the time of collection, averaging 4.4 stars, with 73 per cent five-star and 8 per cent one-star.
