What does 3W for 35-150L mean?
It is a wattage presented as a tank range. Three watts cannot deliver four turnovers an hour in a 150-litre tank, so treat the top of the range as marketing.
How do I clean a sponge filter?
Rinse it in water taken from the tank: tap water chlorine kills the bacteria the filter exists to grow.
Is it good for shrimp?
Yes: sponge filters are the standard choice for shrimp and fry because the flow is gentle.
