The Zakkart Cat Perch for Window Sill with Bolster is a hook-on window perch — hardwood and metal frame, plush bed in a natural wood and grey finish — and it takes the number one slot in our guide to cat window perches. It is a single perch at £20.61, and the price matters more than it sounds: only one listing in this category is a genuine pair, two perches for £29.99 (£15.00 each), while every single-perch listing runs from £20.61 to £36.99. This Zakkart sits at the bottom of that range.
Its 40 lb limit is 18.1 kg, which puts it in the middle of a crowd — seven of the ten perches in our guide state a capacity between 16 kg and 18.1 kg, so the figure shoppers filter on barely separates them. The two listings that claim more are also the thinnest on evidence: a 20 kg claim sitting beside 8% one-star ratings, and a 30 kg claim from 16 reviews with no four-star band at all. The Zakkart's own history has no missing steps: 4.7 out of 5 from 5,471 ratings, with 85% five-star, 8% four-star and 2% one-star. As with everything on this page, that comes from the Amazon listing rather than from any testing of our own.
