The KYG Car Boot Protector is a quilted boot liner for dogs, tools and wet kit, priced at £19.50 and ranked fourth in this guide. The listing states a size of 185 x 105 cm (73" x 41"), a 4.7 out of 5 rating from 1,642 ratings, and a Best Sellers Rank of 15th in Dog Car Seat Covers. It is described as a 600D+210D Oxford fabric liner with quilt stitching, PP cotton padding and a PVC coating, held in by headrest buckles, side hook-and-loop straps and an anti-slip base.
The number worth checking on this one is the size, not the price. 185 x 105 cm is a large boot — the kind of footprint that suits an estate or a big SUV — yet the title lists it for "Cars, Hatchback SUVs" and the specification field says Universal Fit. The reviews carry both sides of that claim: one owner calls it a great fit for a Vauxhall Grandland, while another, driving a Fiesta, writes that the sides are long for her car and that she pushed the liner into the corner. If your boot is closer to a Fiesta than a Grandland, treat "universal" as a statement about the straps rather than about the size.
Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing for this product — its own specification fields, bullets and customer reviews — and not from any testing we carried out.
